Clear as Follow

“Clear as Follow” is a VBL script which links your client’s orders to the covered orders at the liquidity provider.

In simple words if you open Buy position at the client side, the Bridge will cover it and open a new Buy position at the LP (Liquidity provider) side.

When closing the Buy position (closing the same order as a sell position) at the client side, the bridge will close the same covered Buy position at the LP side without the need to open an opposite position (sell position).

The regular mechanism of the bridge is when you open a position at the client side it will cover/open the same position with different ticket number at the LP side. When close a position at the client side, The Bridge will open a new position with a new ticket number at the LP side.

The Paradox here that “Clear as Follow” links the positions at the client side, with those correlated positions at the LP side.  

Ignore If Missed Option

By closing orders manually at the LP side, the bridge discovers the missed positions at the LP side.  When you close them at the client side it will cover the position at the LP side with the opposite order type.

Checked (True)

By closing orders manually at the LP side, the bridge discovers that the missed positions at the LP side (when you close them at the client side) it won’t cover the position and ignores it.

Usage

• Download the attachment.
• Rename it to “custom.vbl“
• Copy it to company VertexFX Bridge folder i.e. C:Program FilesVertexFX Bridge 10Manage and overwrite if asked.
• If you are using VertexFx Bridge Version ‘10.5.9’ or above then copy it to your VertexFX Bridge folder i.e.  C:Users[USERNAME]AppdataRoaming and overwrite if asked.
• Run the Bridge.
