It uses the average true range and the exponential moving average of price in calculating support resistance levels. Then it plots these levels as a line on the chart. When the price is above the pivot line, it indicates an uptrend, and the price action below the pivot line indicates a down trend. Positions can be opened in the direction of the trend.
