StuficStoch Expert Adviser is an advanced VertexFX client-side script that employs multiple indicators and methods to identify breakout trades. It is based upon Moving Averages, Stochastic oscillator and the Williams%R (percent R) signal.

The fast and slow Moving Averages are used for primary trend detection. The Stochastic oscillator and the Williams%R are used for secondary verification of the signals. The Expert Advisor can open trades in either BUY or SELL direction at the same time if a valid entry signal is received in that direction. Similarly, it can add to an existing position if a new signal is received in the same direction. It also provides an optional feature to increase the lot size when a new position is added to an existing position.

ENTRY RULES –

Using a combination of the above mentioned four indicators, six modes of entry rules are possible. The user can choose any one of these entry rules.

1. BUY if the fast Moving Average crosses above the slow Moving Average, and the slow Moving Average is in an uptrend (rising up). SELL if the fast Moving Average crosses below the slow Moving Average, and the slow Moving Average is in a downtrend (falling down).

2. BUY if the fast Moving Average crosses above the slow Moving Average, and the slow Moving Average is in a downtrend (falling down). SELL if the fast Moving Average crosses below the slow Moving Average, and the slow Moving Average is in an uptrend (rising up).

3. BUY if the fast Moving Average crosses above the slow Moving Average. SELL if the fast Moving Average crosses below the slow Moving Average.

4. BUY if fast Moving Average crosses above the slow Moving Average, and the current price is below both the fast and slow Moving Averages.SELL if the fast Moving Average crosses below the slow Moving Average, and the current price is above both the fast and slow Moving Averages.

5. BUY if the fast Moving Average crosses above the slow Moving Average, and the current price is above both the fast and slow Moving Averages, and the Williams %R indicator is oversold.SELL if the fast Moving Average crosses below the slow Moving Average, and the current price is below both the fast and slow Moving Averages, and the Williams %R indicator is overbought.

6. BUY if the fast Moving Average crosses above the slow Moving Average, and the current price is below both the fast and slow Moving Averages, and Williams %R is rising above the overbought level. SELL if the fast Moving Average crosses below the slow Moving Average, and the current price is above both the fast and slow Moving Averages, and the Williams %R is falling below the oversold level.

EXIT RULES –

The Expert Advisor employs the following rules for closing a trade:

1. A trade is closed when the Take Profit or Stop Loss is reached.

2. A trade is closed at protective Trailing Stop if configured.

3. If the net profit of all open positions reaches a specified level, then all open positions are closed.

4. If the net loss of all open positions reaches a specified level, then all open positions are closed.

Configurable Inputs

1. LOTS – The lot-size of each trade opened by this Expert Advisor.

2. TP – The take-profit (in points) of each trade opened by this Expert Advisor.

3. SL – The stop-loss (in points) of each trade opened by this Expert Advisor.

4. USE_TRAILING_SL – Specifies whether to use trailing-stop loss.

5. PROFIT_USD – The net profit of all open trades, which when reached will close the open trade(s) based on the exit criteria of PROFIT_USD_CLOSE_ONE.

6. LOSS_USD – The net loss of all open trades, which when reached will close the open trade(s) based on the exit criteria of LOSS_USD_CLOSE_ONE.

7. PROFIT_USD_CLOSE_ONE – Specifies whether the most profitable trade will be closed when the net profit of all trades reaches the PROFIT_USD net profit.

Usage

• Download the attachment from vStore or directly from the vStore tab in your terminal by performing a right click on it and selecting Download & Install
• Copy it to your company VertexFX Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:ProgramDataVertexFX Client Terminals”Company name”VTL10Local VTL Scripts
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
