Daily Break Point

Daily Break Point is a powerful Client side VertexFX VTL expert advisor for VertexFX forex trading platform. This EA works on the concept of Break out Theory. The expert advisor first study the market conditions and identify if the trend is bullish or bearish, and then execute at the new bar if the last bar has broken through the point that the trader has set at the parameters.

Breaking calculation is indicated by first bar of open day position with BreakPoint value that set in parameters. With the help of close price of previous bar and Open price of previous bar it identify the trend. When the close price of the previous bar is greater than open price at previous bar then it is considered as Bullish trend and if the its other way round i.e. close price at previous bar is less than open price at previous bar its considered as a Bearish trend.

If the bullish trend is there and if the current price break the break point price then the EA opens a Buy Order and if the Bearish trend is there and it break the break point price then the sell trade is opened. Break point value can be set from configurable input parameter BreakPoint.

The opened orders can be closed with the help of Stop Loss and Take profit and trailing stop. All these values can be set through the configurable inputs available in the EA.

Configurable Parameters

1. LotAuto ( calculates the lots while true)
2. LotManual(lots is taken from this variable while LotAuto is false)
3. StopLoss(A common StopLoss input set to all the orders)
4. TakeProfit(A common TakeProfit input set to all the orders)
5. Strategy_1_Enable(Performs breaking calculation while true)
6. Strategy_1_BreakPoint(A common breakpoint input to calculate the breakpoint)
7. Strategy_1_LastBarSizeMin(Minimum bar size)
8. Strategy_1_LastBarSizeMax(Maximum bar size)
9. Strategy_1_TrailingStart(Start value for trailing stop)
10. Strategy_1_TrailingStop(stop value for trailing stop)
11. TrailingStep(Trailing step value for trailing stop)

Usage

• Download the attachment from vStore or directly from the vStore tab in your terminal by performing a right click on it and selecting Download & Install
• Copy it to your company VertexFX Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:ProgramDataVertexFX Client Terminals”Company name”VTL10Local VTL Scripts
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
