VTL Mail Status

VTL Mail Status is a simple client side script that publishes the account information and the status of the open positions and pending orders to the e-mail recipient. This script is useful when the user needs to monitor the account status remotely. The script uses SMTP e-mail protocol and the CDO framework for composing and sending e-mail messages. The e-mail configuration must be properly configured. Please refer to your e-mail provider reference help on how to find the correct settings of your STMP e-mail provider.

The script publishes the following account summary information – If PUBLISH ACCOUNT INFO is set to True.

• Account Name and Number.
• Account Balance.
• Account Equity.
• Account Profit.
• Account Margin (used).

The script publishes the following position summary information – If PUBLISH POSITIONS is set to True.

• Number of Open positions.
• Ticket.
• Symbol.
• Position Type – BUY or SELL
• Lots.
• Entry Price, Stop Loss and Take Profit.
• Open P/L of the position.
• Current Bid and Ask of the symbol.

The script publishes the following order summary information – If PUBLISH ORDERS is set to True.

• Number of pending orders.
• Ticket.
• Symbol.
• Order Type – BUYLIMIT, BUYSTOP, SELLLIMIT, SELLSTOP.
• Lots.
• Entry Price, Stop Loss and Take Profit.
• Current Bid and Ask of the symbol.

Inputs :

– SHOW DIALOG: Specifies whether to display a message box that displays the contents of the e-mail.
– PUBLISH ORDERS: Specifies whether to publish details of pending orders.
– PUBLISH POSITIONS: Specifies whether to publish details of open positions.
– PUBLISH ACCOUNT INFO: Specifies whether to publish summary account information.
– EMAIL SENDER USERNAME: The username of the e-mail sender on the e-mail server.
– EMAIL SENDER PASSWORD: The password of the e-mail sender.
– EMAIL RECIPIENT ADDRESS: The address of the e-mail recipient.
– EMAIL SERVER: The address of the e-mail server.
– EMAIL SMTP PORT: The SMTP port of the e-mail server.
– EMAIL SENDER NAME: The name of the e-mail sender.
– EMAIL SENDER ADDRESS: The address of the e-mail server.

Usage

• Download the attachment from vStore or directly from the vStore tab in your terminal by performing a right click on it and selecting Download & Install
• Copy it to your company VertexFX Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:ProgramDataVertexFX Client Terminals”Company name”VTL10Local VTL Scripts
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
