USD Hunter

USD Hunter is a server side VTL, the idea behind this Expert Advisor is the correlation between different pairs.When the USD raises against the EUR in EURUSD pair for instances, it seems very likely to raise against of the other pairs that have strong correlations with the EURUSD pair (i.e. USDCHF and GBPUSD).

The expert uses the USD Index to determine the correlation factor between the USD pairs.We use five pairs moving average to calculate USD index those are EURUSD,GBPUSD,AUDUSD,USDJPY and USDCHF.

When the index change from negative to positive i.e USD getting strength we go short on EURUSD, GBPUSD or AUDUSD and long on USDJPY or USDCHF. On the other hand when index changes from positive to negative i.e USD losing strength we go long on EURUSD, GBPUSD or AUDUSD and short on USDJPY or USDCHF. We close any position with opposit index movement.

We have a trailing stop function to make it more useful for the traders. As we use USD indexes in this expert, you must to use them with USD pairs only. Please updated ‘User Defined Variables’ in Line 24 to 33 as described by comments to meet your trading requirement.

Usage

• Download the attachment from vStore or directly from the vStore tab in your terminal by performing a right click on it and selecting Download & Install
• Copy it to your company VertexFX Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:ProgramDataVertexFX Client Terminals”Company name”VTL10Local VTL files
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
