Trailing Stop Loss – Server Side EA

Trailing Stop Loss is a Server Side VTL Expert Adviser. The EA manages risk on only one position selected by ticket number of position. Trailing Stop Loss EA must be configured to manage the desired position before starting it.

Put the ticket number and trailing stop loss in pips before starting the EA. The EA runs on server managing selected position until it is closed. When profit on the selected position reaches the “trailing stop loss” pips, it applies a break even stop loss. After that it monitors the position and adjust stop loss as profit increases.

The stop loss is set in such a way that it is “trailing stop loss” pips below the maximum profit level the trade reached at any time. Thus the EA raises the stop loss level as long as the trade moves in favorable direction. It locks the profit and guarantees the trade so it does not go into a loss, and when the price moves against the trade, it closes the trade with already locked in profit.

Usage

• Download the attachment.
• Copy it to your company VertexFX  Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:Program FilesCompany Namevtl10Local VTL File
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
