MACD vs Signal – Server Side EA

MACD Vs Signal is a server side VTL expert adviser. MACD vs Signal EA is built on the standard MACD indicator. MACD is a simple and effective momentum oscillator. Traders can look for signal line crossovers, center line crossovers and divergences to generate signals.

MACD vs Signal EA implements the signal line cross over strategy. Trading rules are:
Buy – MACD line crossing above the MACD signal line
Sell – MACD line crossing below MACD signal line
Exit – Exit open positions on a fixed stop loss or on opposite signal.

The fixed stop loss and take profit is set through the parameters take profit and stop loss. EA can apply a trailing stop loss also. If the parameter trailing stoploss is set with a value greater than zero, then the trailing stoploss is also applied to the position. The lost size and symbol to trade can be set through the corresponding parameters. To start the EA on server, open the EA in VTL editor, and click the start button in VTL editor. EA is copied to the server and run on the server. Client terminal can be closed and EA will continue to run on the server until it is stopped.

Usage

• Download the attachment from vStore or directly from the vStore tab in your terminal by performing a right click on it and selecting Download & Install
• Copy it to your company VertexFX Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:ProgramDataVertexFX Client Terminals”Company name”VTL10Local VTL Scripts
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
