LWMA Crossover Signal

LWMA Crossover Signal indicator is a VertexFX client side VTL indicator based on a fast moving and slow moving Linear Weighted Moving Average indicator (LWMA).

The concept behind this indicator is that the faster LWMA responds to a trend quicker than the slower LWMA. At the same time, the slower LWMA confirms that the trend is sustainable. We first calculate the fast LWMA based on FAST_LWMA period, and the slow LWMA based on the SLOW_LWMA_PERIOD. The signals are generated when the crossover of the two these LWMAs occur. When the faster LWMA crosses above the slower LWMA a Buy signal is generated. Likewise, when the fast LWMA crosses below the slower LWMA a Sell signal is generated.

BUY – Place Buy position when a Buy Arrow signal is appearing at close of candle. Avoid entering the Buy trade if a gap-up open has been observed.
SELL – Place Sell position when a Sell Arrow signal is received at close of candle. Avoid entering the Sell trade if a gap-down open has been observed.

Usage

• Download the attachment from vStore or directly from the vStore tab in your terminal by performing a right click on it and selecting Download & Install
• Copy it to your company VertexFX Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:Program FilesCompany Namevtl10Local VTL Files
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
