KC

KC indicator is a VertexFX client side VTL indicator. KC indicator defines the trading ranges in which the market is restricted during sideways mode, and the level at which the markets will breakout upwards or downwards when a strong trend is detected.

KC indicator is calculated from two components, Exponential Moving Average (EMA), and Average True Range (ATR). It has two bands, the upper band and the lower band. The upper band is calculated by multiplying the ATR (Average True Range) with the FACTOR and adding it to the EMA (Exponential Moving Average). The lower band is calculated by multiplying the ATR (Average True Range) with the FACTOR and subtracting it from the EMA (Exponential Moving Average).

Breakout mode:
BUY – Place Buy position when candle closes above the upper KC band.
SELL – Place Sell position when candle closes below the lower KC band. 

Neutral Mode :
BUY – Place Buy when candle closes below the KC band.
SELL – Place Sell when candle closes above the upper KC band.

Usage

• Download the attachment from vStore or directly from the vStore tab in your terminal by performing a right click on it and selecting Download & Install
• Copy it to your company VertexFX Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:Program FilesCompany Namevtl10Local VTL Files
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
