Ehler’s Distance Coefficient Strategy Pro is a powerful VertexFX client side auto-trading robot. It is based on the trend-following Ehlers Distance Coefficient indicator which provides precise BUY and SELL signals.

This indicator has a minimal lag, of approximately 3 bars, which is very useful in detecting start of trends. In the first step we calculate the distance co-efficient – which is the sum of absolute difference between the current price and price MOM_PERIOD bars ago, calculated over the LOOKBACK period. This value is weighted once again over the recent MOM_PERIOD bars, to generate the Ehlers Distance Coefficient. It is similar to an EMA, but is faster with lesser lag and better response to change in trends.

Inputs :
a) MOM_PERIOD – The momentum period to calculate the distance co-efficient.
b) LOOKBACK – The lookback period to calculate the distance co-efficient.
c) LOT_SIZE – The lot size of the trade.
d) TP_POINTS – The take profit in points.
e) SL_POINTS – The stop loss in points.
f) MAGIC – The unique identifier for trades generated by this robot.
g) POINT_DEFAULT – The point value of the current instrument.

Changing Parameters can be done afrer attaching the vtl to chart.

Buy: Buy trade will be triggered when indicator colour turns BLUE. Exit BUY when indicator colour turns RED.

Sell:  Sell trade will be triggered when indicator colour turns RED. Exit SELL when indicator colour turns BLUE.

Usage

• Download the attachment from vStore or directly from the vStore tab in your terminal by performing a right click on it and selecting Download & Install
• Copy it to your company VertexFX Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:ProgramDataVertexFX Client Terminals”Company name”VTL10Local VTL Scripts
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
