Pakistan Mercantile Exchange is the first commodity exchange in Pakistan. Licensed and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. PMEX employs modern risk management techniques based on Value-at-Risk with a pre-trade risk check in real time.

The Exchange acts as a central counterparty to both buyers and sellers through a novation process and provide clearing & settlement on a T+0 basis using on-line bank transfer mechanism. PMEX recently changed its name from National Commodity Exchange Limited to better reflect its broad mandate and scope of activity to trade all types of futures contracts.

VertexFX PMEX Bridge is a VertexFX Plugin enables any VertexFX Broker to connect his backend to Pakistan Mercantile Exchange and route his trades to them according to Risk Management Rules (RMB Mode) configured at the VertexFX Bridge

With the continuous system expansion in the market with its flexibility in adding plugins to it, PMEX has certified VertexFX within their technology vendors, accordingly a connection plugin has been added to serve Brokers in their STP business with LP’s, Prime brokers and exchanges (PMEX in this one).
