QQEA

QQEA indicator is a VertexFX client side VTL indicator that consists of a smoothed Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator and two volatility-based trailing levels (fast and slow). The Fast Trailing Level (TL) and Slow Trailing Level (TL), are constructed by calculating the ATR of the smoothed RSI over n-periods and then further smoothing for ATR using an additional n-periods .

This smoothed ATR of RSI is then multiplied by the Fast and Slow ATR Multipliers to calculate the final Fast and Slow Trailing Levels, the intersection of the lines is the main indicator of a signal:
– Place Buy, if the red line crosses above the yellow line;
– Place Sell, if the red line crosses below the yellow line.

Important note: Placee trades only after the closure of the current candle. In the case of the intersection of the lines befire the closure of the current candle, it increases the probability of false alarm and it is recommended to wait for the next one.

Divergence:
Looking for divergences between the QQEA indicator and price can prove to be very effective in identifying potential reversal points in price movement.
Trade long on Classic Bullish Divergence: Lower lows in price and higher lows in the QQEA;
Trade short on Classic Bearish Divergence: Higher highs in price and lower highs in the QQEA.

Overbought/Oversold Conditions:
Much like the original RSI (and other oscillators), the QQEA indicator can be used to identify potential overbought and oversold conditions in price movements. An Overbought condition is generally described as the QQEA being greater than or equal to the 70% level while an oversold condition is generally described as the QQEA being less than or equal to the 30% level. The indicator works with virtually no latency and false alarms occur very often, which is unusual for an oscillator. In this QQEA working in profits not only in the areas of trend or large volatility, and a side (Flete) market movement.
