SilverTrend

SilverTrend is a VertexFX client side VTL indicator that provides excellent trading entries.
SilverTrend indicator consists of two components, the SFG (Blue line) and SFD (Red line).

The SilverTrend is used as a replacement of traditional moving averages. As the SFG and SFD can be traded just like ordinary moving averages. The concept of SFG is to relate the phase rate of change of the prices to the alpha (smoothing constant) of the EMA. The SFD is calculated by applying the SFG to the SFG itself. By using an alpha in SFG that is half the value of the alpha in SFG, the SVD steps in synchronization with SFG. This indicator is ideal in reducing whipsaws.

Tradeing using this indicator:
BUY SIGNAL – Place Buy Position when Blue line (SFG) closes above Red line (SFD). Close Buy positon when Blue line closes below Red line.
SELL SIGNAL – Place Sell position when Blue line (SFG) closes below Red line (SFD). Close Sell position when Blue line closes above Red line.

Usage

• Download the attachment from vStore or directly from the vStore tab in your terminal by performing a right click on it and selecting Download & Install
• Copy it to your company VertexFX Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:ProgramDataVertexFX Client Terminals”Company name”VTL10Local VTL Scripts
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
