Day Impulse Overlay

Day Impulse Overlay is a useful VertexFX client side VTL indicator that attempts to predict the price movement over the next few candles based on the previous candles. The Day Impulse Overlay is an innovative indicator that attempts to predict and display the future price(s) based on the continuation of the current trend. We calculate the impulse, which is the change in price between the current and the candle 1 bar ago to PERIOD bars ago. A Simple Moving Average is applied to this impulse value to generate a smoothed impulse value. The predicted values are then calculated by overlaying the current prices with the impulse values to generate the impulse overlays. It displays how the price movement for the next PERIOD bars will look based on the recent PERIOD bars.

Inputs:

• UPDATE – Specifies whether to update on each tick.
• PERIOD – The period over which to predict the future values.
• USE_MA – Whether to use Simple Moving Average for calculations.
• MA_PERIOD – The period used to calculate the Simple Moving Average.
• USE_SIGNAL – Specifies whether to use the Daily Range for signal.
• POINT_DEFAULT – The default value of the point for the specified chart.

Note: This indicator does not provide BUY or SELL signals. It must be used with other indicators.

Usage

• Download the attachment from vStore or directly from the vStore tab in your terminal by performing a right click on it and selecting Download & Install
• Copy it to your company VertexFX Local VTL Files folder i.e. C:ProgramDataVertexFX Client Terminals”Company name”VTL10Local VTL Scripts
• Restart your Client Terminal or Right Click on “Local VTL Scripts” Tree Node to find the script.
